What FL-22 Covers
The newly drawn FL-22 stretches from the western suburbs of Palm Beach County through the agricultural heartland of the Glades. It encompasses some of Florida's most hardworking, family-oriented, and patriotic communities β places where people still believe in God, country, and honest work.
Why This District Matters
A Community, Not a Compromise
Previous maps fragmented western Palm Beach County communities, diluting their political voice. The new FL-22 unites these neighborhoods under one representative who actually lives here β Steve Avila, born and raised within the district.
The Glades: Florida's Forgotten Region
Belle Glade, Pahokee, and South Bay make up the Glades β a region shaped by agriculture, faith, and resilience. For too long this area has been overlooked by Washington politicians. Steve will bring their voice to the House floor.
Growth & Opportunity
Westlake is one of Florida's fastest-growing cities. Royal Palm Beach and Wellington are thriving suburban communities. The new FL-22 reflects the real growth happening across western Palm Beach County and needs a representative ready to champion pro-growth, conservative policies in Congress.
A District That Reflects Its People
FL-22 is diverse, hardworking, and deeply American. From equestrian estates in Wellington to sugar cane fields in the Glades, these are communities united by shared values β family, faith, hard work, and freedom.
Steve Avila didn't choose FL-22 because it was convenient β this is home. He grew up in Royal Palm Beach, went to school here, and built his life here. He knows every community in this district personally, and he's ready to represent every single one of them in Washington.
